Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer and today, we're talking about the Tekonsha T-One Four Pole Wiring Harness on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Now what this is gonna allow you to do is use your existing seven pole wiring and hook this four pole wiring to it so you have the ability to not only use a seven pole, but also a four pole wiring. So let's check it out. A reason why you might need a four pole wiring is if you have any accessories or trailers that only use four pole wiring because it is still a very common system to use. Now, this isn't gonna limit you to just using four pole, you'll still have ability to use the seven pole tube. I recommend just making sure that you know what your 4Runner has because there are plenty of different trim packages for the 4Runner and each one of them has different wiring kits already installed on them. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today We're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One trailer wiring harness, here on a 2021 Toyota Highlander. So before we tell you about this trailer wiring harness we wanna make sure that this is the correct fit for your vehicle because there's two different options here for the Highlander. We have models with the factory tow package, and we have models without the factory towing package. This particular harness here is gonna be specific to those models with the factory tow package. So if you don't have the factory tow package, you'll need to purchase the other one for this vehicle that involves a bit more installation. Now, if you don't know whether or not you have the factory towing package, it's a good idea to go ahead and reach out to your dealer with your VIN so they could verify that for you. more

T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2022 Toyota Avalon- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Trailer Wiring Harness here on our 2022 Toyota Avalon. So a trailer wiring harness is gonna be one of the many things that we need in order to tow a trailer with our Avalon. In addition to this, we're gonna need a trailer hitch and a ball mount slash hitch ball, all of which we carry here at etrailer. Now what the trailer wiring harness actually does is it's gonna transmit the vehicles' taillight signals to the trailer, which is a legal requirement in every state. A lot of your larger camping trailers are actually gonna cover the taillights on the vehicle, so we need a way to safely transmit those signals so we can arrive to our destination safe and sound. So when we're not using our trailer wiring harness, it's actually gonna be stored in the trunk here which is really great for those people who aren't towing every day. more

Hi there, Prius owners. Today on your 2017 Toyota Prius, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector vehicle wiring harness. And this is what our harness looks like when it's installed. That's right, you can't even see it, because it's hidden underneath our panels, so when you're ready to use your wiring, simply lift up on the panel, and it's stored here inside. When you've got it pulled out, simply just drape it over the back, and when you close your lift gate here, it's going to pinch it between the weatherstripping. It's not going to cause any damage to it, just make sure you avoid the striker at the very middle.And now we've got our 4-pole Flat Trailer connector here at the back, which provides us with all of our necessary lighting signal. more

Hi there, RAV4 owners. Today, on your 2019 Toyota RAV4 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install CURT's 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness. And this is what our harness is going to look like when it's installed and in the in use position. It drapes down from the inside of the vehicle out the back and it provides you with a 4-pole flat trailer connector that's going to give you all the necessary lighting for your trailer, which includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps and brake lamps, so you'll be DOT compliant in all states. On the end of our connector we've got a dust cap to help keep out any dirt and debris to ensure a long lasting connection. Since many Tacoma owners use their trucks to do a little bit of towing. You're going to want to make sure that you stay safe and legal. And our four-pole wiring is going to provide our trailer with the necessary lighting functions to do so. Now the wiring is going to have a output of 7.5 amps per circuit for your tail lights, and 2.1 amps per circuit for your stop and turn. So what that means, regardless if your trailer has incandescent bulbs or even LEDs, you're going to have no problem powering them up. more

Today on our 2018 Toyota Sienna we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness.This kit is going to provide your trailer with the proper lighting functions as you're pulling it down the road. Not only keep you safe, but legal.Now, one thing I really like about this wiring kit, and what kind of separates from some of the others, is that it's going to use a module box. What that's going to do is protect your factory wiring, and for short we're going to cur on the trailer. Now it comes with a heavy duty dust cap which will help keep your terminals protected and corrosion free. If you want to go a step further I'd recommend every now and again putting some dielectric grease on them.Now our wiring is going to have a power output of 2.1 amps per circuit for our stop and turn signals, and 7.5 amps per circuit for our tail lights. more

Today on this 2012 Toyota Camry we're going to review and install the Tekonsha T-One vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. This is what our wire harness looks like when installed in a vehicle. Now you can see, we don't have it mounted to anything because when we're not using it, it's going to stay inside our trunk of our car. It can simply ride inside here and be protected from the elements when not in use. This is great for situations where you tow your trailer, or have it set where it lights in the back very few times of the year. And when you are ready to use it, and you keep it on the inside of vehicle, just pull out what you need to go down to your trailer's connector and you can simply close the hatch. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2018 Toyota RAV4- Video
Today in our 2018 Toyota RAV4, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the CURT T-connector vehicle wiring harness with a four pole flat trailer connector. That's going to be part number C56350. And to help us with our installation, we're going to be using this short, no drill mounting bracket, part number 18140, and the four pole flat mounting bracket, part number 18144.So here's what our wiring looks like once we have it installed. Now I do want to mention that we chose to mount ours on the outside close to our hitch, that way we can have it whenever we tow. So we added a couple brackets that are sold separately. But our wiring's going to give us a four pole flat trailer connector. more
